Earning 1/2 WOBs in losing efforts.
Justin Verlander looked like his vintage self, striking out 9 Rangers in 7 innings of 3 hit shutout ball. Like the old days, the Detroit bullpen imploded and gave away the 8-3 game.
Josh Reddick reached base 4 times, scoring a run and driving in another. The rest of the A’s offense was dormant as Baltimore slammed them, 11-3.
Mike Foltynewicz threw 7 innings, allowing 2 runs, no walks and struck out 8. The Braves bullpen took the loss to Arizona, 5-3 in 11 innings.
Bryce Harper reached base 7 times without an official at bat, being walked 6 times, 3 times intentionally and being hit by a pitch. All those times on base resulted in one single run and the Nationals lost a heart breaking 4-3 game to the Cubs.
