Mookie Betts was one of two players to hit 3 homers today. He gets the slight edge over Encarnacion because his second homer was the go ahead shot in a razor thin 5-4 Red Sox win over the Royals.

Luis Severino threw a complete game 5 hit shutout, striking out 10 Astros and earning the 4-0 decision for the Yankees.

Nick Hundley doubled twice, singled and homered, scoring 4 times as the Giants rolled over the Padres, 9-4.

Sean Newcomb threw 7 shutout innings, striking out 8 Mets en route to the Braves 7-0 victory.
