Who Owned Baseball Yesterday (April.08) – Updated MLB Yearly ‘WOB’ Standings 2014
Ryan Braun homered three times, driving in 7 runs and spoiling the Phillies home opener with a Brewers 10-4 victory.
Delmon Young went 3 for 6 with a 2 run homer, 2 RBI total and a pair of run scored, leading the Orioles 20 hit attack against the Yankees and a 14-5 victory.
Tim Hudson won the Giant’s home opener with an 8 inning performance, letting up just 2 earned runs and no walks against Arizona for a 7-3 final.
Chris Archer was masterful against the Kansas City Royals, throwing 7 shutout innings in just 91 pitches. He did not get the decision, but set up the Rays tense 1-0 win.

Who Owned Baseball Yesterday (April.05) – Updated MLB Yearly ‘WOB’ Standings 2014
Ike Davis came off the bench to launch a walk off, come from behind grand slam to give the Mets a 6-3 victory over the Reds.
James Loney smacked a 2 run 8th inning double that turned a 4-3 Rangers lead to a 5-4 Tampa Bay advantage that they would hold on to for the win.
Jose Fernandez dominated again. This time
Felix Hernandez retired the first 11 Oakland batters he faced. He continued his shutout into the 9th and finished with 1 run over 8 1/3 innings, getting the 3-1 win for the Mariners.

Who Owned Baseball Yesterday (April.04) – Updated MLB Yearly ‘WOB’ Standings 2014
Charlie Blackmon had a career day in the Rockies home opener. He collected 6 hits, driving in 6, homered and pounded 3 doubles, leading Colorado to a 12-2 drubbing of the Diamondbacks.
Gerrit Cole was terrific pitching against the Cardinals. He finished with 7 innings letting up just 2 runs as the Pirates won an interdivisional rival game, 12-2.
Miguel Cabrera is back doing what he does best: Hit. He went 4-5 with a homer and 3 RBI, leading the Tigers past the Orioles, 10-4.
Jake Odorizzi is the latest Rays pitcher to star. He threw 6 innings of shutout ball against the Rangers, letting up just 3 hits as Tampa won, 8-1.

Who Owned Baseball Yesterday (April.03) – Updated MLB Yearly ‘WOB’ Standings 2014
Angel Pagan went 3-5 and clubbed a 3 run go ahead home run in the 8th inning, propelling the Giants to a come from behind 8-5 win over the Diamondbacks.
Jason Hammel pitched into the 7th inning the day after a marathon 16 inning game. He let up only 2 hits and one run, earning the Cubs first victory of the season, 3-2 over Pittsburgh.
Chris Archer threw six solid innings, striking out 7 and giving up just 2 runs, getting the 7-2 Rays win over Toronto.
Xander Bogaerts collected three hits and scored a pair as the Red Sox topped the Orioles, 4-3.
