Earning Full WOBs:
Austin Barnes singled, doubled and homered, driving in 2 runs as the Dodgers hung on for dear life, defeating the Giants, 9-8.
Matt Chapman got on base 3 times, finishing with a dramatic 2 out 3 run walk off homer to give the A’s a wild 5-4 victory over Tampa Bay.
Frankie Montas struck out 9 Rays over 8 innings, allowing 4 hits, 1 run and no walks. He did not get the decision but set up the 5-4 A’s walk off win.
Tanner Roark pitched 6 innings, striking out 7 Brewers and walking none as the Reds cruised to a 7-1 final.
Earning 1/2 WOBs:
Jay Bruce got on base 4 times, including a home run, but the Phillies still lost to the Nationals, 7-4.
Jake Marisnick homered twice and added another hit in the Astros 10-6 loss to the Yankees.
Charlie Morton pitched into the 7th, allowing 1 run and striking out 6. The Rays bullpen would collapse in the 9th, giving Oakland the 5-4 win.
Robbie Ray struck out 9 Rockies in 6 innings, allowing 3 runs. The Diamondbacks would drop the 6-4 game in extra innings.
