Masahiro Tanaka threw a complete game 2 hit shutout, striking out 10 and walking 1 as the Yankees blanked Tampa Bay, 3-0.

Mike Trout put on a show in Toronto, collecting 4 hits including a double and a homer, driving in 3, as the Angels cruised to a 10-5 final.

Earning 1/2 WOBs:

José Berríos struck out 10 Red Sox in 8 strong innings, allowing 1 run, 5 hits and no walks. The Twins bats were shut down, however, in the 2-0 final.

Cavan Biggio homered twice and walked twice but his Blue Jays were doubled up by the Angels, 10-5.

Elieser Hernández held the Cardinals to 1 earned run and 1 unearned run over 6 innings, striking out 6 and walking none. He took the hard luck 5-0 loss for Miami.

Max Muncy got on base 3 times including a homer but the Dodgers fell short against San Francisco, 3-2.
