Zack Wheeler struck out 11 Marlins in 7 innings, allowing 2 runs and cruised to the lopsided 11-2 decision for the Mets.

Earning 1/2 WOBs:

Lance Lynn struck out 8 Astros in 7 innings, allowing 3 runs and 1 walk. He took the hard luck 3-0 loss for Texas.

Austin Meadows homered and added another hit and a walk, but the Rays rally came up short against the Yankees, 4-3.

Franmil Reyes collected 3 hits, including a double, and scored a run but the Padres were clobbered by the Rockies, 12-2.

Adam Wainwright pitched 7 strong innings, allowing 1 run, walking none and striking out 8 Pirates. He did not fare in the decision as the Cardinals were edged, 2-1.
