Let’s see owned baseball on May 9, 2019

Earning Full WOBs:

Nolan Arenado got on base 5 times, including a homer and 3 RBI as the Rockies held on to win a wild snow covered 12-11 Coors Field slug fest with the Giants.

Patrick Corbin struck out 8 Dodgers in 7 shutout innings as the Nationals won, 6-0.

Jordan Luplow hit a pair of solo homers as the Indians blanked the White Sox in a rain shortened 5-0 game.

Felix Peña pitched 7 innings of shutout relief, allowing 3 hits and striking out 7 Tigers to earn the 13-0 decision for the Angels.

Earning 1/2 WOBs:

Mike Leake held the Yankees to 1 run and 6 hits, walking none over 7 innings. But the Mariners bats were dead and he took the hard luck 3-1 loss.

Hunter Pence homered and walked in the Rangers 4-2 loss in Houston.

Gregory Polanco reached base 4 times, homered and drove in 3 but the Pirates were topped by St. Louis, 17-4.

Mike Soroka threw 6 strong innings, allowing 1 run and 4 hits. He did not factor in the decision as the Diamondbacks walked off in extra innings against St. Louis, 3-2.
