Chris Sale tossed a complete game, allowing 6 hits and 1 run as the White Sox clobbered the Yankees, 7-1.

George Springer helped the Astros come from behind with 3 hits, including a homer, 4 RBI and 2 runs scored to top Boston, 7-6.

Jeremy Hellickson struck out 9 Reds in 7 innings, giving up just 4 hits and 2 runs and earned the 3-2 decision for the Phillies.

Joe Panik reached base 3 times and launched a 3 run come from behind homer on a 3-0 count and gave the Giants all the offense they needed, 3-1 over Arizona.

They all owned baseball on May 13, 2016.

Justin Verlander went the distance, striking out 8 in 8 and giving up just one run. But that was enough as the Orioles blanked Detroit, 1-0.

Byung-ho Park homered twice, driving in three, but the Twins were edged out by Cleveland, 7-6.

Julio Teheran allowed 1 earned run and 1 unearned run over 7 strong innings against the World Champion Royals. But the Braves bats and gloves betrayed him and he was saddled with the 5-1 loss.

Andrew McCutchen got three hits including a homer but the Pirates could not match the Cubs, 9-4.
