Earning 1/2 WOBs in losing efforts.

Jimmy Nelson pitched into the 8th, finishing with 8 1/3 innings, 5 hits and 2 runs. He would be a hard luck loser as the Brewers fell to San Francisco, 2-1.

Aaron Sanchez gave the Blue Jays 7 innings of 5 hits, 1 run ball while striking out 8 Rays batters. He would not get the decision as Tampa took the controversial game, 3-2.

Dee Gordon went 3 for 6, including a game tying bottom of the 9th RBI double. His Marlins would drop the 8-7 game to the Tigers in 11 innings.

Jed Lowrie smacked a pair of RBI singles in the A’s 5-4 loss to the White Sox.
