Let’s see owned baseball on May 6, 2019

Earning Full WOBs:

Avisail Garcia went 3 for 4 with a homer and 3 RBI in the Rays 12-1 drubbing of the Diamondbacks.

Jose Iglesias singled, doubled and tripled, driving in 4 as the Reds topped the Giants, 12-4.

Chris Paddack pitched a shutout into the 8th with 7 2/3 innings allowing 4 hits, 1 walk and striking out 11 as the Padres blanked the Mets, 4-0.

Martín Pérez allowed 2 hits in 7 scoreless innings, striking out 9 Blue Jays as the Twins rolled, 8-0.

Earning 1/2 WOBs:

Jacob deGrom gave the Mets an encouraging 7 innings, 4 hit, 2 run performance. Unfortunately for him, the Mets were shutout by San Diego, 4-0.

Dee Gordon got 3 hits, including a homer, but the struggling Mariners lost again, this time to the Yankees, 7-3.

Pablo Sandoval homered and threw an inning of scoreless mop up relief as the Giants were clobbered by the Reds, 12-4.

Ryan Weber gave the Red Sox 4 shutout innings out of the bullpen in their 4-1 loss in Baltimore.
