Eric Hosmer collected 5 hits, including a grand slam, scored 5, drove in 6 and added a stolen base for good measure as the Royals embarrassed the Tigers, 16-2.
Chris Sale gave the Red Sox a much needed win after pitching 7 innings of 3 hit shutout ball, striking out 11 Mariners in the 4-0 final.
Christian Yelich reached base 5 times with a homer and 4 runs scored in the Marlins wild 22-10 slugfest with Texas.
Aaron Nola struck out 10 Astros in 6 shutout innings as the Phillies rolled, 9-0.
