Who Owned Baseball May 11, 2016 (Daily #MLB AL/NL Pitcher + Hitter MVP’s) + 2016 #WOB Standings

Max Scherzer matched the record for strikeouts in a 9 inning game by fanning 20 Tigers and throwing the complete game 3-2 masterpiece in Washington.
Noah Syndergaard earns a rare pitcher WOB as a hitter, clubbing a pair of homers, driving in all four of the Mets run and earning the 4-3 decision on the mound against the Dodgers to boot.
Doug Fister threw 7 strong innings, allowing just 2 runs and walking no Indians batter. He did not get the decision but set up the Astros walk off 5-3 in the 16th.
Jackie Bradley Jr. homered twice and doubled, knocking in 6 as the red hot Red Sox clubbed the A’s, 13-3.

Earning 1/2 WOBs in losing efforts.
John Lackey held San Diego to 3 hits and 1 run while walking none and striking out 7. He was a hard luck loser as the Cubs were blanked, 1-0.
Chris Herrmann doubled and tripled in Arizona’s 8-7 loss to Colorado.
Jordan Zimmermann gave the Tigers 7 quality innings, allowing 3 runs but was on the wrong end of Scherzer’s wizardry as Washington took the game, 3-2.
Jason Kipnis collected 5 hits in Cleveland’s 16 inning 5-3 defeat in Houston.
