Odds To Win The American And National League Pennants For 2016

Back to Back AL pennants and this years World Series Winners. They should the biggest favorite to win their respective division so far on the board. As such, should be the favorite to win the AL Pennant as well. franchise has most of the core nucleus all heading for Free Agency before the 2018 season. If I were a fan of this club - I would be okay with the team rebuilding after this, but for now to throw all chips in and try to cash in on a chance for a small dynasty. Dayton Moore and the Brass should use any one of their Minor League Players to acquire the next piece or 2 to make that happen in 2016 and 2017.

Step right up and plunk down as much money as you can on the Royals.  Tied for 6th in the AL odds, and given what other sports gambling websites are giving the defending champs for a World Series odd, it is an ultimate no brainer.

I can’t wait to see if this gambling establishment also offers a over/under for the club.  It has been fun making money on the Kansas City squad over the last few years.

There is no way that the Indians and Tigers should have parallel wager odds with KC.

The Cubs are the prohibitive favorite to win the 2016 World Series, butcoming year.

The Cubs are the prohibitive favorite to win the 2016 World Series, but stay away from the +350 odd to win the National League Pennant.  The value is with the club to win the World Series.  At bet365.com they are listed as +700 favorites.  This means the bang for the buck is to bet them there, as the Cubs should be the favorite to win over every American League club there would be.

The Cubs are heavily favored to win the Senior Circuit, but with most other places offering a +700 wager to win the World Series, than you are better off just betting them to win the World Series.

Depending on who Chicago plays, do you see them as a +100 underdog to any of the clubs?  Heck no, I think these guys will be favored over every club coming to play them in the Fall Classic should Chicago reach the Series for the 1st time since 1945.

The Mets and Nats have decent value on the NL crown, but the value is just not high enough to put some cabbage down on.

St. Louis is coming off of a 100 win season and are listed tied for 6th best odd in the NL?  Not likely. They did recently sign Mike Leake, and have the same roster returning in 2016 as they had in 2015.

They lost John Lackey and Jason Heyward, with Lance Lynn going down Tommy John Surgery, but they also will have Adam Wainwright back for a full year – and with Stephen Piscotty and Randal Grichuk taking over the vacated AB from Heyward, they are not in bad shape for sure.

The Yankees picking up Aroldis Chapman has definitely put them in the conversation with the Red Sox and Blue Jays for the AL East Division.

Boston should not almost be doubly favored to New York and Toronto.  I would peg the win – loss difference to be even for Toronto and New York, and maybe 1 – 2 wins behind the Red Sox.  These odds do not reflect this at all.

The American League may feature all teams with 70+ wins in 2016, and as such with parity more rampant, Oakland has the worst odds to win the Junior Circuit Pennant at +600. I also feel their may only be 1 or 2 teams that top the 90 win barrier in 2016.
