Shelby Miller had a no hitter until 2 outs in the 9th inning when it was broken up with a single. He finished with a 2 hitter and 1 walk, winning 6-0 for the Braves in Miami.

Brandon Belt singled, walked, doubled and homered, scoring 3 times leading the Giants to a 9-8 victory in Cincinnati.

James Paxton pitched 8 shutout innings, allowing 5 hits and 2 walks, defeating the Red Sox 5-0 in Seattle.

James Loney reached base 5 times, including a double, driving in 3 runs, helping the Rays inch closer to first place with an 11-3 win in Minnesota.

Earning 1/2 WOBs in losing efforts.

Kyle Kendrick pitched 7 innings, allowing just 3 hits and 1 run but got the tough luck loss as the Dodgers beat Colorado 1-0.

Justin Upton reached base 4 times, including a pair of homers, in a losing cause as the Nationals fell 10-5 in San Diego.

Mark Buehrle suffered a complete game 4-2 loss, going 8 innings, allowing 6 hits and 4 runs as Houston topped Toronto.

Billy Burns went 3-4 with a stolen base and a run scored in Oakland’s 7-3 loss to the White Sox.
