Sully Baseball Daily Podcast – May 11, 2015
Posted by Paul Francis Sullivan
Do NOT pinch run for your best hitter in a close game! You would think that would be managing 101.
Plus I have the hardest Who Owns Baseball decision of the year so far.
It is a weighing the pros and cons Episode 930 of The Sully Baseball Daily Podcast.
Martin Maldonado, Jason Kipnis, Ryan Vogelsong, Kolten Wong, Marcus Semien, Andrew Cashner, Shane Greene and the controversial Michael Pineda all added to their totals for Who Owns Baseball?

Who Owned Baseball May 10, 2015 (Daily AL/NL Pitcher + Hitter MVP’s) + 2015 #WOB Standings
Posted by Paul Francis Sullivan
Martin Maldonado collected 3 hits including a game tying 7th inning homer and a walk off single in the 11th, icing a 3-2 Brewers victory over the Cubs.
Jason Kipnis singled, doubled, tripled, stole a base, scored two and drove in two in the Indians 8-2 victory over the Twins.
Ryan Vogelsong kept the Giants in the game with 7 innings of 4 hit ball, walking none and allowing a single run. He would not get the decision but the Champs would walk off 3-2 winners over Miami.
And in one of the most difficult decisions in Who Owns Baseball and one that will not make everyone happy, Michael Pineda struck out 16 Baltimore batters and walked none over 7 innings, earning the 6-2 win for the Yankees.
They all owned baseball on May 10, 2015.

Earning 1/2 WOBs in losing efforts.
Kolten Wong hit a game tying 2 run homer in the 6th inning but his Cardinals would eventually lose the 4-3 game in Pittsburgh.
Marcus Semien went 3-4 including a pair of homers off of King Felix. But the A’s would fall short in Seattle, 4-3.
Andrew Cashner walked none and allowed just 4 hits over 7 innings. Unfortunately for him, 2 of those hits were solo home runs and he became a hard luck loser for the Padres, 2-1 in Arizona.
Shane Greene pitched beautifully in an important rivalry game. He went 8 innings, walking none and allowing just 4 hits and 1 run but got a no decision as the Tigers fell to KC, 2-1.
