Marcell Ozuna homered twice, as the Cardinals took the 11-8 slugfest with Washington.
Justin Verlander threw 7 strong innings, striking out 8 Twins while letting up just 3 hits and 1 run to win the 5-2 game for Houston.
Robbie Ray threw a shutout into the 7th, finishing with 10 strikeouts over 6 1/3 innings as Arizona blanked San Diego, 6-0.

Chris Sale struck out 13 Mariners over 7 innings of 4 hit shutout ball to give the Red Sox a 5-0 victory.
Yuli Gurriel doubled twice and homered, driving in 4 and scoring 2 to help the Astros rout the Royals, 11-3.
Dereck Rodriguez allowed 1 run over 7 strong innings. He did not get the decision but helped set up the Giants walk off 11th inning 3-2 win over San Diego.
Enrique Hernandez homered twice, collected a third hit and scored 3 runs as the Dodgers outlasted the Mets in 11, 8-7.
