Chris Sale struck out 13 Mariners over 7 innings of 4 hit shutout ball to give the Red Sox a 5-0 victory.
Yuli Gurriel doubled twice and homered, driving in 4 and scoring 2 to help the Astros rout the Royals, 11-3.
Dereck Rodriguez allowed 1 run over 7 strong innings. He did not get the decision but helped set up the Giants walk off 11th inning 3-2 win over San Diego.
Enrique Hernandez homered twice, collected a third hit and scored 3 runs as the Dodgers outlasted the Mets in 11, 8-7.
