Sully Baseball Daily Podcast – April 4, 2015
The Angels reaction to the Josh Hamilton decision was deplorable. They don’t deserve Mike Trout.
Ervin Santana’s reaction to his positive test made me roll my eyes.
That and positive news from Montreal in this episode of The Sully Baseball Daily Podcast.
Sully Baseball Daily Podcast – April 3, 2015
Comedian and pioneering podcaster Jimmy Pardo, host of the appropriately named podcast Never Not Funny, is today’s guest.
We talk about the 2015 White Sox, remember bits of 2005 and remain cautiously optimistic.
Plus he admits that he was actually not in the White Sox clubhouse in 2012.

The crazy chart you see above is the result of me trying to figure out which team I like the most and which one I like the least.
I rank them, plus I talk about MLB’s issue with the California drought and why April Fool’s Day Sucks.
It is a analytical episode of The Sully Baseball Daily Podcast.
Sully Baseball Daily Podcast – April 1, 2015
Los Angeles could become the experimental lab for removing blackout rules and ending the Time Warner impasse in the most profitable way possible.
It is a think outside the idiot box episode of The Sully Baseball Daily Podcast.
Sully Baseball Daily Podcast – March 31, 2015
20 years ago today, the Strike/Lockout of 1994 and 1995 ended. I look back at how I jumped right back into baseball once the gates opened back up.
It is a hitting rock bottom episode of The Sully Baseball Daily Podcast.
Sully Baseball Daily Podcast – March 30, 2015
Who will win the American League East?
Which ever team makes the best in season trade. This is a division that is a work in progress at best.
It is a Let’s Make a Deal episode of The Sully Baseball Daily Podcast.
Sully Baseball Daily Podcast – March 29, 2015
It is Sunday and time for The Sunday Request.
The Royals will take advantage of a mediocre American League. But will they be the so so team of most of last year or the dynamic team of October.
That and I comfort a crying little league player on The Sully Baseball Daily Podcast.
Sully Baseball Daily Podcast – March 28, 2015
There are many possible World Series match ups. But historical, none will be as unique as a Mariners/Nationals fall classic.
The star power would be off the charts. And we would see a match up unlike anyone since 1980 for one reason, unlike any since 1906 for another and one we have NEVER seen for a third reason.
It is a “Let’s think of October in March” episode of The Sully Baseball Daily Podcast.
Sully Baseball Daily Podcast – March 27, 2015
I love David Ortiz to death. But has there ever been a player caught in a PED web who has been given a bigger pass than Big Papi? OK, other than Andy Pettitte.
Which makes his rambling and meandering editorial for The Players’ Tribune more aggravating. Just play, be the charming Big Papi and ride off into the sunset! Don’t invite the criticism that you are barely getting to increase.
And maybe more stars who get caught should do what Manny Ramirez did. Accept it and move on.
Meanwhile, I hear from a Twitter follower:
@sullybaseball wtf… how about YOU shut up?
— A Hat Made of Straw (@OneStrawHat) March 27, 2015
I will… right after this episode of The Sully Baseball Daily Podcast.

How can the Tigers STILL have a questionable bullpen after years of knowing their relievers have kept them from winning a World Series?
It is a sputtering Motor City episode of The Sully Baseball Daily Podcast.
Sully Baseball Daily Podcast – March 24, 2015
Hector Olivera signed with the Dodgers. What does that mean for Don Mattingly’s future with the team?
It is a “Better Win Now” episode of The Sully Baseball Daily Podcast.

We may never have a perfect system for dealing with rookies and service time.
We may never have a perfect media rights package.
But we can not wring and hands about perfection when some systems can be kept the same and others slightly tweaked and make lots of people millionaires and provide a great product.
It is a “Let’s do what WORKS” episode of The Sully Baseball Daily Podcast.
Sully Baseball Daily Podcast – March 21, 2015
Yasiel Puig and Clayton Kershaw can rewrite the Dodger record books if they stay healthy. And the Dodger records for hitting are not as impressive as you would think a successful franchise would have.
It is a create your own history episode of The Sully Baseball Daily Podcast.
Sully Baseball Daily Podcast – March 20, 2015
The Dodgers and Giants rivalry right now would be more intense if the San Francisco ace didn’t change with every World Series title.
Also the new ending of the season is the coolest idea I’ve heard in a while.
It is a renewed rivalry episode of The Sully Baseball Daily Podcast.
Sully Baseball Daily Podcast – March 19, 2015
I want Cuban star prospect Hector Olivera to go to either the Giants or the Marlins? Why?
Because I want those two franchises to elbow their way into an All Time discussion for consistency as World Series champs… and I want that to make Yankee fans angry.
It is a very petty episode of The Sully Baseball Daily Podcast.
Sully Baseball Daily Podcast – March 18, 2015
Phil Hecken, a contributor to Sporting News and the weekend editor for Uni-Watch, joined the podcast.
We talked about uniforms, good and bad, and our collective thoughts about Houston and Miami’s threads.

Pete Rose applied for reinstatement. It is a formality and who knows where it will lead?
But before you join a “Free Pete” movement, realize that because of Pete, the 1986, 1987 and 1988 NLCS could have a big Asterisk next to them.
It is a Luck of the Irish Episode of The Sully Baseball Daily Podcast.
Sully Baseball Daily Podcast – March 16, 2015
Today your pal Sully acted in a movie called “The Wrong Stuff”. It is written and directed by Brett Rapkin, who previously made a documentary about the same subject, former Red Sox pitcher Bill Lee.
That film, entitled Spaceman – A Baseball Odyssey, also featured yours truly.
I play a mailman opposite Josh Duhamel, who plays Bill Lee. We had fun on the set today, improvised in an unusual manner and I also got to meet 2003 Cy Young winner Eric Gagne in the process.
It was a fun day of movie making magic on this episode of The Sully Baseball Daily Podcast

@SN_Baseball @sullybaseball The DH would be an excellent series of podcasts.
— ExiledMetFan (@ExiledMetFan) March 9, 2015
I see absolutely no need to have uniformity in the leagues. Having the DH in one league and not the other is something I love about baseball.
Let the pitchers hit in this episode of The Sully Baseball Daily Podcast.
Sully Baseball Daily Podcast – March 14, 2015
Have some people forgotten to have fun?
How can anyone REALLY be upset about Will Ferrell playing in spring training games?
And who was more fun than Dontrelle Willis when he burst onto the scene? He is retiring and getting his due respect.
Plus I dance while getting a rental car and I explain why algebra came easy to me but geometry was a chore on this episode of The Sully Baseball Daily Podcast.
Sully Baseball Daily Podcast – March 13, 2015
Did you know Alex Rodriguez was having a good spring training?
Did you even know that A-Rod was AT spring training?
You wouldn’t know that if you were following the Yankees on Twitter.
That and the San Diego Padres rebuilding process continues to be passionate but reckless.
It is a Retweeted episode of The Sully Baseball Daily Podcast.

Oh injuries… how they make Spring Training not fun.
Yu Darvish and Marcus Stroman might lose their seasons.
Cliff Lee? His career could be over. It is a big league tenure worth saluting.

Sully Baseball Daily Podcast – March 10, 2015
Can you imagine being so spoiled as a baseball fan that you actually can’t recall the events of your team winning a World Series?
That has happened with some Yankees, Red Sox, Giants and Cardinals fans I know.
Perhaps that is the ultimate achievement for a franchise: Having titles lost in the shuffle.
It is a mini dynasty episode of The Sully Baseball Daily Podcast.
Sully Baseball Daily Podcast – March 9, 2015
Two high profile and highly paid former World Series hero third basemen are in the news.
One is the reviled Alex Rodriguez of the team I hate the most, the Yankees.
The other is the lovable “Kung Fu Panda” Pablo Sandoval, who moved from my second favorite team, the World Champion Giants, to my favorite team, the Red Sox.
So why is Alex Rodriguez earning my respect and Pablo is making me think “Shut up, Panda”?
Find out why on this episode of The Sully Baseball Daily Podcast.
Sully Baseball Daily Podcast – March 7, 2015
I recorded today’s episode along a big empty field in Fremont California.
If everything had gone according to plan, the Athletics would have had their stadium and called this patch of land home. As you can see, it didn’t happen.
It is a “What could have been” episode of The Sully Baseball Daily Podcast.
Sully Baseball Daily Podcast – March 6, 2015
While washing dishes, I thought of the purpose of the play by play announcer. Are they supposed to educate us or are they supposed to be a companion.
That and and a Ritch Duncan mouse story episode of The Sully Baseball Daily Podcast.
