Aaron Nola allowed 1 hit and no runs over 7 brilliant innings, striking out 10 Mets. He also broke up the no hitter with a 3 run double that gave the Phillies all of their runs in the 3-1 final.

José Berríos threw 7 innings, allowing 1 run, no walks and struck out 8 Royals to give the Twins a 3-1 victory.

Scott Schebler went 4 for 5 with a homer and 3 RBI to help the Reds beat Cleveland, 7-5.

Stephen Piscotty broke up a scoreless tie with a homer and later drove in the only other run in the game with an RBI single as the A’s blanked the Astros, 2-0.

Kyle Hendricks pitched into the 9th, striking out 8 Giants in 8 1/3 innings, allowing 1 unearned run. He did not get the decision as the Cubs fell in 11 innings, 2-1.

Gerrit Cole dominated Oakland with 11 strikeouts over 6 shutout innings. But the Astros bullpen dropped the 2-0 final.

Wil Myers singled and homered in the Padres 8-2 loss to the Dodgers.

Nicholas Castellanos reached base 4 times, scoring a run, but the Tigers dropped a wild 10-9 slugfest to Tampa Bay.
