Mark Reynolds became the 15th player in MLB history to drive in 10 runs in a single game by collecting 5 hits, including 2 homers, propelling the Nationals to an 18-4 thrashing of the Marlins.
Andrew Benintendi reached base 6 times, homered, scored 4 times and drove in a pair of runs as the Red Sox rolled over the Royals, 15-4.
Anibal Sanchez pitched into the 7th, striking out 8 Brewers in 6 2/3 innings, giving up 2 hits and 1 run, earning the 5-1 win for Atlanta.
Blake Snell struck out 9 Mets in 7 1/3 shutout innings as the Rays won, 3-0.
