Nathan Eovaldi threw 6 innings of no hit ball before being lifted for a reliever. The bullpen blew the no hitter but Tampa Bay blanked Oakland, 6-0.

Max Scherzer struck out 12 Orioles over 8 shutout innings to push Washington into first place with a 2-0 final.

Jorge Soler collected 4 hits, including a homer, driving in 2, as Kansas City held on to take a wild 11-8 game against the Twins.

Matt Kemp doubled and homered, driving in 4 as the Dodgers won against Philadelhia, 8-2.

Julio Teheran threw 7 strong innings, allowing 5 hits and 2 runs, striking out 3 Mets but was saddled with the hard luck 4-1 decision for the Braves

Max Stassi got 2 hits including a homer, knocking in 3 but Houston fell to the Yankees, 5-3.

John Ryan Murphy went 3 for 5 with a homer in Arizona’s 7-4 loss to the Reds.
