Two of the biggest Yankees in terms of their physical bodies came up big in Game 3.

Sabathia’s arm and Judge’s bat and glove have made this a series. And here I was hoping the Astros could clinch tomorrow afternoon.

So who owned October?

Each winning team for every post season game gets a pitcher and a hitter who earn a full WOO (Who Owns October.)

And at my discretion, I award a 1/2 WOO’S to a worthy player on the losing team.

At the end of the post season, we will see who had the highest WOO total as a pitcher and a hitter.

A complete description of the rules can be found HERE.

From October 16

2017 ALCS Game 3:

Receiving 1 WOO

Aaron Judge  launched a 3 run homer and made a pair of highlight reel catches to lead the Yankees past the Astros, 8-1.

CC Sabathia threw 6 shutout innings allowing 3 hits to earn the 8-1 decision for the Yankees over Houston.

Receiving 1/2 WOO

Alex Bregman singled and walked, driving in the Astros only run in their 8-1 drubbing by the Yankees.

Collin McHugh saved the Astros bullpen with 4 innings of no hit shutout ball in the 8-1 loss to the Yankees.
