Doug Fister allowed a lead off homer and then held the Indians hitless for the next 9 innings, going the distance in the 9-1 Red Sox win.

Gary Sanchez homered twice, added another hit and drove in 4 as the Yankees mashed the Tigers 13-4.

Patrick Corbin threw 8 strong innings, allowing 4 hits and 1 run while striking out 6 Mets for the 7-4 Diamondbacks victory.

Yangervis Solarte drove in 6 runs with a homer and 2 other hits pushing San Diego past St. Louis, 12-4.

They all owned baseball on August 22, 2017

Nicholas Castellanos hit a pair of homers in the Tigers 13-4 drubbing by the Yankees.

Jeff Samardzija threw 6 strong innings allowing 1 earned run and 1 unearned run. But the Giants bullpen lost the 4-3 game to Milwaukee.

Eugenio Suarez got 3 hits, including 2 homers, and drove in 5, but the Cubs came back to beat his Reds, 13-9.
