Byron Buxton collected 13 total bases by homering 3 times, adding a single, stealing a base and driving in 5 runs as Minnesota beat Toronto, 7-2.

Carlos Carrasco threw 7 shutout innings, striking out 8 Royals in Cleveland’s 12-0 romp.

Giancarlo Stanton reached base 4 times, including his 50th homer, driving in 3, to help the red hot Marlins win again, 6-2 over the Padres.

Patrick Corbin struck out 8 Giants over 7 shutout innings earning the 11-0 decision for Arizona.

They all owned baseball on August 27, 2017

Anthony Rizzo homered twice, added another hit and drove in 5 as the Cubs demolished the Phillies, 17-2.

Andrelton Simmons got a pair of hits including a 3 run homer that put the Angels up for good in the 8th inning, 7-6 over Houston.

Zach Davies threw 7 shutout innings to help the Brewers blank the Dodgers, 3-0.

Kevin Gausman took a shutout into the 8th, finishing with 7 2/3 scoreless innings, striking out 5 Red Sox as the Orioles rolled, 7-0.
