Joey Votto got on base 3 times, homered and drove in 3 to help the Reds clobber San Diego, 11-3.

Trevor Williams allowed 1 hit and struck out 5 Tigers in 7 shutout innings as the Pirates took the 3-0 final.

Jorge Polanco got 4 hits,including a double, driving in 2 in the Twins 5-4 win over the Brewers.

Dylan Bundy struck out 10 Angels and walked none over 7 innings to earn the 6-2 decision for Baltimore.

They all owned baseball on August 7, 2017

Earning 1/2 WOBs:

Jose Pirela provided all of San Diego’s offense, homering twice and driving in 3 but the Reds rolled, 11-3.

Matt Cain threw 3 shutout innings out of the bullpen, keeping the Cubs off the board and the Giants in the game. Chicago would hold on to win, 5-3.

Mike Trout doubled and homered, scoring both Angels runs in their 6-2 loss to Baltimore.

Jordan Zimmermann was solid over 7 innings, allowing 3 hits but took the hard luck 3-0 defeat as the Tigers were blanked by the Pirates, 3-0.
