Who Owned Baseball April 18, 2017 (Daily #MLB AL/NL Pitcher + Hitter MVP’s) + 2017 #WOB Standings

Wei-Yin Chen threw 7 no hit innings before being lifted. The bullpen lost the no hitter but not the 5-0 final for the Marlins over Seattle.

Nolan Arenado went 3 for 4 with 2 homers to lead the Rockies past the Dodgers, 4-3.

Miguel Gonzalez pitched into the 9th, finishing with 4 hits and 1 run over 8 1/3 innings, earning the 4-1 decision for the White Sox against the Yankees.

Mookie Betts got 3 hits, including a homer, and scored 3 times in the Red Sox 8-7 victory in Toronto.

Luis Severino struck out 10 White Sox in 8 innings, allowing just 3 hits and 3 runs. He was a hard luck loser as the Yankees dropped the 4-1 game.

Whit Merrifield reached base 4 times and homered but the Royals fell in extra innings to San Francisco, 2-1.
