Daily Matchups for 4/20/2017
Pitchers To Target:

Chris Sale- Sale has really been the Redsox only good starting pitching this season. He gets a juicy match-up against a struggling last place Blue Jays team. He’s even had a lot of success against a once-potent offense.
Career vs Current Blue Jays Roster
AVG: 0.168 [17 for 101], BABIP: 0.187, K%: 20.9, BB%: 8.2
FIP: 3.91 Flyout: 23Strikeout: 23 Groundout: 18Single: 11 Pop Out: 10 Walk:9 Lineout: 5 Grounded Into DP: 3 Home Run: 3 Double: 3Double Play: 1 Forceout: 1

Noah Syndergaard- Can we please get through one start where he doesn’t leave with a blister? He’s got a tremendous match-up against a Phillies team that he has dominated in his career but it will hinge on his finger apparently. Let’s pray for the best!
Career vs Current Phillies Roster
AVG: 0.175 [10 for 57], BABIP: 0.216, K%: 30.0, BB%: 5.0
FIP: 3.13 Strikeout: 18Groundout: 10 Single: 7Flyout: 6 Lineout: 5 Pop Out:3 Walk: 3 Grounded Into DP:2 Home Run: 2 Field Error: 1Double Play: 1 Forceout: 1Double: 1

James Paxton- If you’d ask me about how viable of an option Paxton would be during Spring Training I might have laughed in your face. But have you seen his success so far this season?! His last game against Texas he pitched 8 innings of 2 hit ball with 9 Ks, and previous start against the Astros he pitched 7 innings of 7 hit ball and 8 Ks.
Career vs Current Athletics Roster
AVG: 0.289 [11 for 38], BABIP: 0.300, K%: 16.3, BB%: 9.3
FIP: 5.87 Groundout: 8Single: 8 Strikeout: 7 Flyout:5 Lineout: 4 Walk: 4 Field Error: 2 Home Run: 2 Triple:1 Sac Fly: 1 Grounded Into DP: 1

Trevor Story Hasn’t Quite Recreated his April Magic From Last Season
Last April, Colorado Rockies shortstop Trevor Story made his presence felt in a big way as a rookie. It’s kind of hard not to when you hit seven home runs in your first 12 career games and tie a rookie record for the most dingers in April (10).
There’s really no way for anyone to replicate that performance (.261/.324/.696 line with 10 homers and 20 RBI, good for a 143 wRC+). Even if he mashed once again this month, coming into the season expecting that level of production — especially in the power department — would be entirely unfair.
However, Story has unfortunately seen the other end of the spectrum this year with regard to April performances. He already experienced what it’s like to be on fire, and now he’s realizing what it feels like to start completely ice cold.
That’s evidenced by his .125/.263/.313 triple slash with 2 homers and 3 RBI in 57 plate appearances. As frustrating as the first handful of games have likely been for him, his results on offense haven’t all been bad. Not a whole lot has been good, though.
Daily Fantasy MLB DFS Picks For Fanduel & DraftKings 4/19/17
Dailyrotohelp.com is back for this Wednesday 4/19/17 slate. Let’s take a look at some plays we like in the form of Top and Value Pitching, Value bats, and some Top BVP plays to go along with some pitchers we think you should avoid today as well.

Daily Matchups for 4/19/2017
Pitchers To Target:

Madison Bumgarner- MadBum gets a terrific match-up against an under-performing 4th place Royals and he’s absolutely dominated them in his career. If there’s one team that he will get his first win of the season against, it has to be the Royals. He’s had 37, 37 , and 49 FP his first 3 starts of the season and I fully expect him to top that in his start tonight.
Career vs Current Royals Roster
AVG: 0.170 [16 for 94], BABIP: 0.238, K%: 31.3, BB%: 3.0
FIP: 1.66 Strikeout: 31Groundout: 16 Lineout: 10Flyout: 10 Single: 9 Double: 6Pop Out: 6 Walk: 3 Field Error: 2 Grounded Into DP: 2Hit By Pitch: 1 Forceout: 1Sac Bunt: 1 Home Run: 1

Clayton Kershaw- He’s a stud but that means he will cost you a ton. He is coming off of an 8.1 IP, 4 H, 1 BB, 8 SO, 1 ER performance against the D-Backs where he ended up with 56 FP over on Fanduel. Two starts ago Kershaw faced the same Rockies and only got 24 FP but that game was in Coors so we won’t take much heed in those numbers.
Career vs Current Rockies Roster
AVG: 0.238 [58 for 244], BABIP: 0.307, K%: 27.4, BB%: 5.0
FIP: 3.01 Strikeout: 70Groundout: 54 Single: 38Flyout: 24 Lineout: 18 Walk:13 Double: 11 Pop Out: 11Home Run: 7 Forceout: 3Triple: 2 Hit By Pitch: 2Grounded Into DP: 2 Fielders Choice Out: 1 Bunt Groundout: 1 Field Error: 1Strikeout – DP: 1

Vincent Velasquez- He just faced this same Mets team in his last start and only lasted 5 innings, walking 4, struck out 7 and gave up 5 ERs for only 21 FP. We think he bounces back tonight as he’s still only given up 14 hits in 63 ABs. He makes a great GPP pitcher and SP2 tonight.
Career vs Current Mets Roster
AVG: 0.222 [14 for 63], BABIP: 0.289, K%: 32.9, BB%: 10.5
FIP: 4.01 Strikeout: 25Groundout: 10 Flyout: 10Single: 9 Walk: 8 Home Run:3 Pop Out: 3 Double: 2 Hit By Pitch: 2 Sac Fly: 2 Field Error:1 Sac Bunt: 1
Other Pitchers: Chris Archer, Kyle Hendricks, Masahiro Tanaka, Dallas Keuchel
