Who Owned Baseball September 16, 2016 (Daily #MLB AL/NL Pitcher + Hitter MVP’s) + 2016 #WOB Standings

Bartolo Colon threw 7 shutout innings, striking out 6 Twins and made some interesting but effective defensive plays to nail down the Mets 3-0 victory.

Collin McHugh gave the Astros 7 shutout 2 hit frames to take a 6-0 game from Seattle and keep their thin playoff hopes alive.

Trea Turner got 4 hits, including a homer, drove in 2 and stole 2 bases as the Nationals inched closer to a division title by beating the Braves, 7-2.

Mike Napoli got on base 4 times, homered and drove in 4 as the division leading Indians cruised to an 11-4 win over Detroit.

They all owned baseball on September 16, 2016.

The Red Sox won a wild game against the Yankees and the best and worst of my personality rose to the top.

It was a rivalry episode of The Sully Baseball Daily Podcast.

Hanley Ramirez, Daniel Mengden, Andrew McCutchen, Johnny Cueto, Chase Utley, Masahiro Tanaka, Starlin Castro and Mike Montgomery all added to their totals for Who Owns Baseball yesterday.

Who Owned Baseball September 15, 2016 (Daily #MLB AL/NL Pitcher + Hitter MVP’s) + 2016 #WOB Standings

Hanley Ramirez launched a walk off 2 out 3 run homer to give the Red Sox a shocking 7-5 victory over the Yankees.

Daniel Mengden threw 7 shutout innings, allowing 3 Royals hits as the A’s took the 15-2 laugher.

Andrew McCutchen homered twice and added another hit in the Pirates 15-2 thrashing of the Phillies.

Johnny Cueto threw a much needed complete game win for the Giants, finishing 6-2 over the Cardinals.

They all owned baseball on September 15, 2016.
