Earning 1/2 WOBs:
Nolan Arenado hit 2 homers, doubled and walked, driving in 5. But the Rockies came up short in the wild 10-7 game against the Marlins.
Tony Kemp went 3 for 3 including a bottom of 9th RBI single that tied the game. However the Rangers would wind up taking the 5-3 game in 11 innings against Houston.
Madison Bumgarner threw a complete game, allowing 2 hits and 1 solo homer. That homer was enough, however as the Giants were shutout by the Nationals, 1-0.
Anibal Sanchez struck out 10 Mets in 8 innings, giving up 4 hits and 1 run but got a no decision in Detroit’s 3-1 defeat.
