Who Will Win All Of The MLB Divisions Polls In 2016? Your Chance To Cast Your Vote

It is different when you are the ‘hunted’ instead of the ‘hunters’ and Chicago has many players that could suffer from a sophomore slump in their second go around the Senior Circuit. These guys are still favored heavily to win the NL Central, and are by the far the biggest consensus Division winner pick among experts.

The Jays are slightly favored over the Yankees. But while this guy doesn’t think so, many prognosticators are saying the Rays have a great chance to win the AL East. I am also a big proponent that the Baltimore Orioles will not be as bad as everyone predicts – and could challenge for this Division if the top clubs run into injury troubles.

They are young and have many players that are on the cusp of breaking out in superstardom like Carlos Correa and George Springer. These guys had 11 guys club double digits in HRs and Dallas Keuchel won the AL Cy Young Award. Collin Mchugh won a pile of games, and Lance McCullers Jr. is a massive flamethrower.

Royals are going to have stiffer competition in 2016 with the Tigers, White Sox and Indians all making improvements to their rosters before this season begins. This club still are the reigning champions and I have to think they should still be labelled the favorite to begin the defense of their Fall Classic Title in 2015.

The Mets won 90 Games last year despite a heavy campaign full of injuries, and should have a much more potent offense for the whole year. Yoenis Cespedes is sure to have another good season in a potential contract walk campaign. The 2016 year they should see some deep internal lineup improvements – and the pitching staff is the best in the Major Leagues. Will it be enough to fend off the Nats?

The Giants should be the NL West favorite. They have added over 400+ Innings to the Rotation with Johnny Cueto and Jeff Samardzija – to narrow the gap to their 3 awesome late inning guys – all motivated to perform well in contract years (Lopez, Casilla and Romo), and feature the best 1 – 8 lineup in the National League. Will 2016 go the way of this decade’s even years?

I am happy to be back at the helm of the MLB Reports, after completing my record 224 Games in the MLB Trip in 2015. It was the 4th time I have seen all 30 MLB Parks since 2008.
During that time away I was fortunate to do 100 Media Interviews and be named the Baseball Blogger Alliance President.
