Jeff Hoffman (FD: $7,400, DK: $8,100)

I like this pick because like we’ve said in past videos and articles, if we can find a decent pitcher against the Giants, it’s almost a must-start. This is for sure 100% a GPP play. His stats show a 4-1 record, 38 Ks and a 1.12 WHIP but he does have a 4.29 ERA attached. The Rockies are a great hitting team this year on the road and off and they get a matchup against Matt Cain. If Hoffman can get 6+ Ks, he should be in line for the win tonight.

Sean Newcomb (FD: $7,700, DK: $6,700)

This is another GPP play as he gets to face a free-swinging Padres team that enjoys striking out as much as they probably enjoy playing baseball. It’s true that Newcomb comes in with an 0-2 record but he does have a 1.96 ERA.

Sean Manaea  (FD: $8,200, DK: $6,200)
