Jake Arrieta threw 7 shutout innings, allowing 6 hits and striking out 5 Dodgers to propel Philadelphia to a 6-1 win.
Mike Clevinger pitched into the 7th, struck out 7 White Sox in 6 2/3 innings and earned the 7-3 decision for Cleveland.
Bryce Harper went 3 for 5 with a homer as Washington topped Baltimore, 3-2.
Brett Gardner got 4 hits including 2 homers, one of which tied the game in the bottom of the 9th and set up the Yankees dramatic 6-5 extra inning victory over Houston.

Earning 1/2 WOBs:
David Hernandez stopped the bleeding by throwing 2 solid innings of shutout relief, retiring all 6 Diamondbacks he faced. But it was too late as the Reds fell, 5-2.
Kyle Gibson threw 7 innings of 5 hit shutout ball, striking out 8 Kansas City batters. He did not factor into the decision as the Twins bullpen dropped the 2-1 final in extra innings.
Asdrubal Cabrera homered twice but the Mets bullpen collapsed again and the Braves walked off to a 7-6 victory.
Daniel Palka homered and doubled, scoring twice in the White Sox 7-3 loss to Cleveland.
