Stephen Strasburg threw a complete game 6 hit shutout, striking out 8 Marlins and added his own homer to boot as he did it all in Washington’s 4-0 victory.

Jose Berrios pitched the Twins closer to a playoff berth with 7 shutout innings, striking out 11 White Sox and earned the 11-1 decision.

Ender Inciarte combined for 8 hits over a double header, reaching base 6 times, including a triple and 4 RBI in the opener and 3 hits and another RBI in the nightcap leading the Braves past Philadelphia, 9-1 and 5-2.

Mike Trout reached base 5 times, scored 4 and missed the cycle by a double, sparking the Angels to a stunning come from behind 10-8 win over Oakland.

Homer Bailey allowed 4 hits and 2 runs over 6 innings but took the hard luck loss as the Reds were blanked by the Mets, 2-0.
Tommy Pham hit a pair of homers, driving in 4, but the Cardinals fell short to Milwaukee, 6-5.
J. A Happ threw 6 strong innings, allowing 4 hits and 1 run but did not get the decision as Boston topped Toronto, 7-1.
