Jake Lamb homered twice, driving in 6, to help Arizona pound the Reds, 12-2.

Justin Smoak went 3 for 5, with 2 homers and 3 RBI, as the Blue Jays held off a late Boston rally and won 8-6.

Patrick Corbin pitched into the 8th, finishing with 7 1/3 innings, allowing 1 run and striking out 6 Reds for the 12-2 Arizona win.

Luis Severino threw 7 shutout innings to earn the 4-1 Yankee victory in Seattle.

Eugenio Suarez reached base 3 times, homered and drove in both of Cincinnati’s runs. The Diamondbacks cruised to a 12-2 blowout.

Dustin Pedroia went 3 for 5 with a 3 run homer in the Red Sox 8-6 loss to the Blue Jays.

Lance Lynn allowed 3 hits and 1 run over 6 innings but got no decision as the Mets walked off against the Cardinals, 3-2.

Felix Hernandez struck out 9 Yankees in 7 strong innings, allowing 3 hits and 1 run. He would take the hard luck decision as the Mariners fell, 4-1.
