Who Owned Baseball July 8, 2017 (Daily #MLB AL/NL Pitcher + Hitter MVP’s) + 2016 #WOB Standings

Paul DeJong went 4 for 4 with a homer and 2 RBI in the Cardinals 4-1 win over the Mets.

Julio Teheran threw 7 shutout innings, giving up 4 hits and striking out 5 Nationals as the Braves cruised to a 13-0 final.

Clint Frazier got 3 hits and drove in 4 including a walk off come from behind homer in the 9th to give the Yankees a much needed 5-3 victory over Milwaukee.

Alex Cobb held the Red Sox scoreless over 7 2/3 innings, allowing only 2 hits and earning the 1-0 decision for Tampa Bay.

Domingo Santana got on base twice and hit a 3 run homer in the first but the Brewers would fall to the Yankees in the 9th, 5-3.

Aaron Nola struck out 9 Padres over 8 innings, allowing 4 hits and 2 runs but was on the wrong end of the Phillies 2-1 defeat by the Padres.

Jarrod Dyson got 2 hits, including a homer, but Seattle fell short to Oakland, 4-3.

Rick Porcello went the distance, allowing 6 hits and 1 run over 8 innings but took a hard luck 1-0 loss for Boston over Tampa Bay.
