Who Owned Baseball May 8, 2017 (Daily #MLB AL/NL Pitcher + Hitter MVP’s) + 2017 #WOB Standings

Jed Lowrie hit two homers including a walk off shot in the bottom of the 11th as Oakland outlasted the Angels, 3-2.

Ryan Schimpf got on base 3 times, homered and scored a pair to help San Diego top the Rangers, 5-1.

Kevin Gausman threw 7 strong innings, allowing 2 runs while striking out 8 Washington batters and getting the 6-4 decision for Baltimore.

Alex Wood struck out 11 Pirates batters while throwing 5 innings of 2 hit shutout ball in the Dodgers 12-1 blowout.

Marcell Ozuna hit 2 homers and drove in 3 but the Marlins dropped the game to the Cardinals, 9-4.

Ricky Nolasco struck out 10 Oakland batters in 7 innings, allowing 2 runs. He did not factor into the decision as the Angels fell in 11, 3-2
