So here it is again in the Playoffs with St. Louis facing elimination.  The club is 8 – 1 in their last 9 elimination games (Game 7 of the 2012 NLCS is the only defeat (SF Giants – suffered in that realm since 2011.)

I think they can stave off being sent home on Wednesday as well.  It would be really good for the game of Major League Baseball if we could have another Game #7.

While I don’t like the Red Sox (as a NYY fan) – I respect them, and David Ortiz is one of my favorite players in the game today.  What he is doing is incredible.

If you are a Boston Red Sox Fan, how much is winning a World Series to you? Why not plunk down $307.70 for the Cardinals to make a miracle comeback, that way if your team doesn’t win, you can at least profit over $1000? Some fans use this practice of at least making some compensation for a bad of turn events.  (Contrary to what some fans believe – you betting against your favorite team – will not determine the outcome of the games one iota!)

Fenway Park has not celebrated winning a World Series at home since 1918. With both of the 2004 and 2007 Series being won in St. Louis and Colorado respectively, the Boston fans will now have 2 games to see if that dream can finally come to fruition!
