Today on The Sully Baseball Daily Podcast, I say “I told you so” to the Yankees.

Some of their problems are self inflicted and could have prevented, not that I am complaining!

Brandon Barnes, Chad Gaudin, Domonic Brown and Ervin Santana  all owned baseball on July 19, 2013.

Brandon Barnes went 5-5 and hit for the cycle in a losing cause. The Astros lost 10-7 to Seattle but Barnes had the offensive performance of the night.

Domonic Brown went 3-5 with a homer helping the Phillies offensive uprising on the road against the Mets, 13-8.

Ervin Santana shut down the first place Tigers over 7 1/3 innings giving the Royals a much needed 1-0 victory.

And Chad Gaudin helped the Giants creep a game closer to the first place Arizona Diamondbacks by pitching 7 shutout innings in San Francisco’s 2-0 victory.

They all owned baseball on July 19th, 2013.

My explanation for “Who Owns Baseball” can be found here.

At the end of the year, we will tally up who owned baseball the most individual days and see how it compares to the final MVP and Cy Young vote.
