Stadium Journey is both a website and a magazine that thrives in rating and reviewing Sporting Venues around the World. Among those sports is MLB. Co – Founder Paul Swaney informed me that the recent magazine is fully geared to help the avid baseball fan visit their favorite ballpark.

By Chuck Booth (Lead Baseball Analyst/Website Owner):

There is not a bigger marketing in all of baseball than all 30 MLB Parks of the game of baseball.  As someone who has dedicated their lives to visiting ballparks the last 7 years, I will pass along information that will help the general masses when it comes to my attention.

One of the people I have met through my baseball travels is Paul Swaney.  I am doing this review and talking about this magazine because I endorse it 100% – and no one spends more time in studying the MLB Ballparks than the fine folks at www.stadiumjourney.com

From the Website:

Stadium Journey is a web venture with the goal to become a world-class community resource for sports fans, built around optimizing the experience of attending live sporting events.

About SJ “We provide tips and information through reviews of pro and college sports stadiums. We also rely on fans to provide tips and information about their favorite home stadium, or a first time impression. By sharing our knowledge, we can make every trip to the ballpark, stadium, or arena the very best it can be. Enjoy the journey!”

From the Magazine:

Stadium Journey Magazine was launched in November 2011 as a way to go into greater depth about the great stadiums in the various sports played around the world.

Each month, we take a thematic look into one league or sport, providing readers with useful and entertaining original pieces. Stadium Journey Magazine is perfect for people who love to travel or who love sports. It’s a great addition to your coffee table, or to pack up and take on your next road trip.

Magazines are available by single issue, or you can order full or half year subscriptions for yourself or a sports traveler in your life. We’ll take you around the sports world stadium by stadium. Enjoy the journey!

With all of the promotions aside here, the new magazine takes the ballpark experience up another level.  This edition focuses in on Citizens Bank Ballpark, The Rogers Centre, Comerica Park and Miller Park.  Also it talks about the 2 Best Community Ball Parks in America – Wrigley Field and Fenway Park.

There is also a section dedicated to the 10 top quirks of MLB Parks.  There is also a feature of traveling to Japan to take in some sights and baseball – while adapting to the language.

Not only is there an A to Z full of information for a stadium fan, there is a current breakdown on the talent put forth on the field.  The Tigers, Blue Jays, Phillies and Brewers are dissected as a team.

Stadium Journey Magazine is a collective effort – of the top baseball park experts, all joining forces to put forth a super charged guide for the fan.  For the price of a few dollars, you will receive many mind – blowing tips that will save you time, effort and cash when venturing to these places.

It is an era of information.

You will learn what traditions each park has, the best transportation method, where to score tickets, what to look for once you enter the facility, deals and secrets offered to the public that the masses might not be privy too.  The best part about all of these write-ups are they were formed by real life fans and not corporations!

The real fan experience is what the general public needs.

The 4 Parks to See

Miller Park is a place that promotes tailgating before the game - and even offers incentive for it.

Miller Park is a place that promotes tailgating before the game – and even offers incentive for it.

In Milwaukee, Stadium Journey explores the rituals of tailgating outside the park before game time. (We are talking about a team that gives away a full fridge of beer to the best tailgate party deemed by the management.  This happens in one of the home Innings when the game starts.)

Citizens Bank Ball Park Opened in 2004 and has routinely brought in 102% for attendance over capacity including a sell out streak that lasted 257 games from 2009-2012.

In Philadelphia, you will learn where to eat a historic cheesesteak, where best to take an iconic picture (Like at the Liberty Bell), or to stand in Ashburn Alley to soak up one of the better ambiances in the game of baseball.  Kurt Smith   of www.ballparkeguides.com runs through the good and bad times of this tough fan base.

In Toronto, Stadium Journey takes you on a ride through the 25 year history of the park.  From a once state of the art facility – and a team that won back to back World Series – to the place implementing the horrific Field Turf – to now discussing renovation plans to resurrect the fan base and make the spot a destination to be at.

In Detroit, Stadium Journey talks about the sights and scenes at one of the modern marvels out of the new parks.  From a state of the art new Scoreboard – to a Ferris Wheel that may be right up the alley for a young kid that can’t sit still for a full baseball game.

About chuckbooth3023

I played competitive baseball until 18 years old and had offers to play NCAA Division 1 University Baseball at Liberty University. Post-concussion symptoms from previous football and baseball head injuries forced me to retire by age 19. After two nearly made World Record Attempts in 2008, I set a New World Record by visiting all 30 MLB Parks (from 1st to last pitch) in only 24 Calendar Days in the summer 0f 2009. In April of 2012, I established yet another new GWR by visiting all 30 Parks in only 23 Calendar Days! You can see the full schedule at the page of the www.mlbreports.com/gwr-tracker . In 2015, I watched 224 MLB Games, spanning all 30 MLB Parks in 183 Days. Read about that World Record Journey at https://mlbreports.com/183in2015/229sked2015/
