The CAUSE: To Raise Money for Concussion Awareness (via Sports Legacy Institute. donate money here) Through Inspiring Others.
I have a projected budget of $22, 500 for this year long journey. $300 of it went to Greyhound and $300 of it went to Megabus, but here is the difference. I ended up doing only 16 journeys for Greyhound compared to 120 from Megabus.
Sure there is a built in advantage for those awesome $1 Megabus rides that I purchased yes, but another facet of Megabus that kicks ass would be their exchange policy. I will divulge that in one moment. Lets just check out Greyhound’s archaic system. Read the rest of this entry

Douglas ‘Chuck’ Booth (Baseball Writer)-I am constantly grateful for living in an era that you can negotiate prices for almost anything. Such as everything we do in life, you become better at something the more you practice at it.
I use Priceline for most of my lodging on baseball road trips. The only circumstances I would not use Priceline is if I am only going to be staying in a room for five hours or less. For Cars, I usually have 20 free car rentals a year but that is only since I rent cars for 365 days a year. People owning their own cars are better off bidding on Priceline.
