Let’s see owned baseball on June 17, 2019
Earning Full WOBs:
Joey Lucchesi shut out the Brewers over 7 innings, allowing 3 hits and striking out 5 to earn the 2-0 decision for San Diego.
Brian McCann reached base 5 times, including a home run, scoring 2 and driving in 2 to help red hot Atlanta clobber the Mets, 12-3.
Masahiro Tanaka threw a complete game 2 hit shutout, striking out 10 and walking 1 as the Yankees blanked Tampa Bay, 3-0.
Mike Trout put on a show in Toronto, collecting 4 hits including a double and a homer, driving in 3, as the Angels cruised to a 10-5 final.
Earning 1/2 WOBs:
José Berríos struck out 10 Red Sox in 8 strong innings, allowing 1 run, 5 hits and no walks. The Twins bats were shut down, however, in the 2-0 final.
Cavan Biggio homered twice and walked twice but his Blue Jays were doubled up by the Angels, 10-5.
Elieser Hernández held the Cardinals to 1 earned run and 1 unearned run over 6 innings, striking out 6 and walking none. He took the hard luck 5-0 loss for Miami.
Max Muncy got on base 3 times including a homer but the Dodgers fell short against San Francisco, 3-2.

Who Owned Baseball August 15, 2018 (Daily #MLB AL/NL Pitcher + Hitter MVP’s) + 2018 #WOB

Evan Gattis went 3 for 4 with a pair of homers, driving in 3, as the Astros got a much needed blow out 12-1 win over Colorado.
Brandon Nimmo singled twice, doubled twice and tripled, driving in 3 to help the Mets take a 16-5 laugher over Baltimore.
Mike Leake threw 8 brilliant scoreless innings, striking out 6 Oakland batters. He did not get the decision but set up Seattle’s 2-0 extra inning victory.
Hyun Jin Ryu shut out the Giants over 6 innings, allowing 3 hits and no walks. The bullpen blew his lead but the Dodgers prevailed in 12 innings, 4-3.
They all owned baseball on August 15, 2018
