Dallas Keuchel went 7 innings, allowing no runs and striking out 7 Mets to earn the 2-1 decision for the Braves.
Reynaldo López threw 5 no hit innings, striking out 6 Rangers. The White Sox bullpen lost the no hitter but not the 2-0 shutout.
Anthony Rendon reached base 5 times, including a homer and 2 RBI to help the Nationals complete the sweep of the Cubs with an extra inning 7-5 win.
Anthony Santander went 5 for 5 with a homer to help the Orioles top the Rays, 8-3.
Earning 1/2 WOBs:
Nolan Arenado got 3 hits, including a homer, but the Rockies were pounded by the Cardinals, 11-4.
Brock Burke went 6 strong innings, holding the White Sox to 1 run. But the Rangers were blanked, 2-0.
Steven Matz held the Braves to 1 run and 2 hits over 6 innings but he took the hard luck 2-1 loss for the Mets.
Franmil Reyes hit 2 homers, including a dramatic game tying shot in the bottom of the 9th, but the Indians dropped the 9-8 game to Kansas City in extra innings.

Dakota Hudson threw 6 shutout innings, allowing 2 hits as the Cardinals blanked the Rockies, 6-0.
John Means held the Rays to 1 run, 5 hits and no walks over 7 innings to earn the 7-1 decision for Baltimore.
Earning 1/2 WOBs:
Jorge Alfaro got 3 hits, including a homer, but the Marlins fell to the Phillies, 9-3.
Zac Gallen struck out 8 Brewers in 5 innings but took the hard luck 4-0 loss for Arizona.
Chad Green gave the Yankees 2 critical shutout innings allowing no hits and no walks while striking out 4 Dodgers. But their comeback came up short in the 2-1 final.
Dawel Lugo reached base 3 times, including a homer, but the Tigers were defeated by Minnesota, 8-5.

J. D. Martinez drove in 7 runs with 3 hits, including 2 homers, as the Red Sox blanked the Padres 11-0.
James Paxton struck out 11 Dodgers giving the Yankees a much needed quality start, lasting 6 2/3 innings, allowing 2 runs and earning the 10-2 decision.
Aníbal Sánchez pitched into the 9th, allowing 1 hit and 1 run over 8 1/3 innings and even drove in a run himself to give the Nationals a 9-3 win over the Cubs.
Earning 1/2 WOBs:
Aristides Aquino homered and collected 2 more hits, driving in both Reds runs in the 3-2 defeat by Pittsburgh.
Kole Calhoun went 4 for 4 with a home run but the Angels came up short against Houston, 5-4.
Jacob deGrom struck out 13 Braves in 7 innings, allowing 1 run and hitting a solo homer for the Mets’ only run in a 2-1 extra inning loss.
Dillon Tate threw 3 innings of shutout relief for Baltimore in the 7-1 pounding by Tampa Bay.

Dereck Rodríguez threw 7 scoreless frames, striking out 4, as the Giants blanked Arizona, 7-0.

Michael Brantley went 3 for 4 with 2 homers but the Astros dropped the wild 7-6 slug fest in Oakland.
Yu Darvish struck out 10 Phillies over 7 shutout innings but watched helplessly as the Cubs bullpen melted down and allowed a walk off grand slam to seal the 7-5 final.
Josh Donaldson homered twice, driving in 3, but the Braves comeback against the Mets came up short, 10-8.
Héctor Rondón was the only stable pitcher in a wild homer frenzy in Oakland, giving the Astros 1 2/3 scoreless innings and allowing the club to comeback. They would eventually lose the 7-6 game.

Jeff Samardzija threw 8 solid innings, allowing 2 hits and 1 run while striking out 5 Philadelphia batters to keep the Giants slim post season hopes alive with a 3-1 decision.

Yasiel Puig went 3 for 4 with a homer in the Indians 4-1 loss to Minnesota.
Tanner Roark pitched into the 7th, striking out 7 White Sox and walking none and allowing 2 earned runs over 6 2/3 innings. Oakland’s comeback fell just short and he took the hard luck 3-2 loss.
Mike Soroka threw 7 shutout innings, striking out 6 Marlins. But the Braves bullpen had meltdowns in multiple innings and dropped the 7-6 game in the 10th.
Juan Soto homered twice, walked and drove in 3 runs but could not prevent the Mets from another dramatic come from behind win over the Nationals, 4-3.

Mike Fiers threw 7 shutout innings, striking out 8 White Sox while walking none to give the A’s a much needed 7-0 victory.
Bryce Harper hit two homers, the second one was a 3 run come from behind shot that put the Phillies up for good in San Francisco as they took the 9-6 final.
J. D. Martinez doubled twice and homered twice, leading the Red Sox to a 16-4 beat down of the Angels.
Earning 1/2 WOBs:
Walker Buehler struck out 8 Diamondbacks in 6 shutout innings, allowing just 4 hits. The Dodgers bullpen would melt down in the 9th and in extra innings, dropping the 3-2 final.
Starlin Castro collected 4 hits, driving in 2, but his Marlins were doubled up by Atlanta, 8-4.
Marco Gonzales pitched into the 7th, recording 9 strikeouts n 6 1/3 innings. He did not get the decision as the Mariners fell to Tampa Bay, 5-3.
Mike Tauchman singled and homered in the Yankees 8-2 loss in Toronto.

Nicholas Castellanos got on base 4 times, including 2 homers, to help the Cubs pound the Reds, 12-5.
Chris Sale struck out 13 Angels over 8 innings of 2 hit shut out ball to earn the 3-0 decision for the Red Sox.
Gio Urshela once again hit 2 homers, adding another single to his hit total as the Yankees doubled up Toronto, 12-6.
Earning 1/2 WOBs:
Charlie Blackmon hit a homer and a double in the Rockies 9-3 loss to the Padres.
Reese McGuire homered, doubled and hit 2 singles but the Blue Jays were beaten by the Yankees, 12-6.
Dillon Peters threw 6 innings, striking out 8 Boston batters, but took the hard luck 3-0 decision for the Angels.
Jeremy Walker held the Marlins to 1 run over 3 1/3 innings of bullpen saving relief in the Braves 9-2 defeat.

Dinelson Lamet took a no hitter into the 7th and finished with 12 strikeouts in 7 innings of 2 hit shutout ball as the Padres topped Seattle, 9-4.
Jorge Soler homered twice and walked twice, scoring 3 runs and added a stolen base to help the Royals beat Boston, 6-2.
Earning 1/2 WOBs:
Kris Bryant singled and homered but the A’s ambushed the Cubs, 11-4.
Nelson Cruz went 4 for 5 with 2 homers and 4 RBI but the Twins dropped the 12-7 slug fest to Atlanta.
Sam Gaviglio entered the game in the 4th and gave the Blue Jays 3 1/3 innings of 2 hit, shutout relief, striking out 3 Rays. The game would go into extra innings where the Rays walked off 7-6 on a wild pitch.
Miles Mikolas struck out 7 Dodgers in 6 1/3 innings, allowing 2 runs and 1 walk. He would be saddled with the hard luck 3-1 loss for St. Louis.
