Masahiro Tanaka- Not only do I love this match-up due to the fact that Tanaka is coming off a complete game shut out against Boston in 97 pitches, but these Blue Jays are a terrible hitting team this season and Mat Latos is pitching for them. What does that mean? It SHOULD mean that the Yankees are able to clobber him and give Tanaka the lead he needs to take another W tonight.

Chris Sale- Look at his elbow in this picture. It just makes me cringe as his 112 lb frame has held up this long. He’s coming off a tremendous game against the Yankees although it was a loss since his team couldn’t muster up a single run for him. This should be a different story tonight against Alec Asher and the Orioles. He’s struck them out at a 26% rate while only walking 7.7%.

People might see this and be off of him but that’s what makes him an intriguing GPP option.
