Domingo German struck out 9 Mariners in 7 innings, allowing 2 hits and 1 run as the Yankees rolled, 7-2.

Freddy Peralta threw 6 shutout innings, striking out 7 Pirates and earned the 3-2 decision for Milwaukee.

Aaron Hicks went 3 for 4 with a homer and 2 RBI in the Yankees 7-2 win against Seattle.

Johan Camargo hit a grand slam, a double and collected 2 more hits, driving in 5 to help the first place Braves pummel the Blue Jays, 11-4.

Rich Hill kept the Cubs scoreless over 6 innings, allowing 3 hits. He did not factor into the decision for the Dodgers 2-1 extra inning loss.

Leonys Martin reached base 5 times, including a double, but the Tigers were beaten by Cincinnati, 9-5.

JT Riddle singled and tripled, scoring one run and driving in 2 more but the Marlins were doubled up by the Giants, 6-3.
