Yangervis Solarte homered twice and  added a double to help Toronto best Washington, 6-5.

Freddy Galvis collected 5 hits, including a double and a homer, in the Padres 9-3 win over Atlanta.

Tyler Skaggs struck out 8 Oakland batters while allowing 2 unearned runs over 7 innings to give the Angels a much needed 8-4 victory.

Jose Urena threw 8 shutout innings, allowing 3 hits and struck out 4 Orioles to earn the 2-0 decision for Miami.
