Danny Duffy struck out 10 Oakland batters over 7 shutout innings, earning the 2-0 win for Kansas City.

Miguel Andujar singled and homered, driving in 2, as the Yankees came from behind to top the Mets, 4-3.

Jon Lester held Pittsburgh to 1 hit and no runs over 7 innings as the Cubs took the 2-0 final.

Paul Goldschmidt continued his hot hitting by reaching base 4 times, including a pair of homers, driving in 4, sparking the Diamondbacks 12-7 slug fest victory in Colorado

Earning 1/2 WOBs:

Chris Bassitt allowed 1 run over 7 innings, but it was 1 run too many as the A’s were blanked by Kansas City, 2-0.

Nelson Cruz got on base 3 times including a homer but Seattle fell to Tampa Bay, 7-3.

Nick Kingham was solid into the 7th, finishing with 2 runs and 4 hits over 6 2/3 innings. He would take the hard luck loss as the Pirates were shut out by the Cubs, 2-0.

Trevor Story collected 3 hits, 2 over them homers, in the Rockies 12-7 loss to Arizona.
