Rich Hill threw 7 innings of 2 hit shutout ball, striking out 10 Padres and adding and RBI single for good measure as the Dodgers rolled, 10-0.

Luis Severino struck out 9 Rays over 6 innings, allowing 1 run to earn the 6-1 decision for the Yankees.

Josh Bell got 3 hits, including a homer, driving in 3 as the Pirates topped Baltimore, 5-3.

Carlos Correa went 4 for 5 with a pair of homers and 4 RBI to lead the Astros in a 12-2 pounding of the Rangers.

They all owned baseball on September 27, 2017

Jeff Samardzija allowed 1 run and 3 hits over 6 innings but the Giants bullpen imploded and allowed the Diamondbacks to walk off 4-3 winners.

Jordan Zimmermann threw 6 effective innings, giving up 4 hits and 2 runs but did not get the decision in the Tigers 7-4 defeat by Kansas City.

A. J. Ellis had a pair of hits, including a homer, in the Marlins 15-9 loss to Colorado.

Robinson Cano singled and homered but the Mariners dropped the 6-5 game to Oakland in the 9th.
