Avisail Garcia went 3 for 4 with a homer, 3 RBI and 2 runs scored as the White Sox handed Minnesota their first loss of the year, 6-2.
Kendall Graveman took a no hitter into the 7th before it was broken up with 2 outs. He finished with 7 innings, 2 hits and 1 run, earning the 6-1 win for Oakland over Texas.
Aledmys Diaz slammed a pair of homers, got a third hit, drive in 4 and scored 3 in St. Louis’ 10-4 blow out of the Reds.
Jhoulys Chacin pitched shutout ball into the 7th, finishing with 6 2/3 scoreless 3 hit frames and earned the 2-1 decision for the Padres over San Francisco.

Dallas Keuchel allowed 1 run and 2 hits over 7 innings. He did not get the decision as the Royals topped the Astros bullpen, 7-3.
Eugenio Suarez doubled and homered but the Reds fell to the Cardinals, 10-4.
Madison Bumgarner pitched 8 strong innings, giving up only 2 runs but took the hard luck 2-1 San Francisco loss in San Diego.
