Arizona was speedbagged by the Colorado Rockies yet again at Chase Field over the
weekend, and put up no runs in the 1st contest, so then there were just 5 clubs remaining.
The next evening the A’s blanked the slow starting Astros, to knock them out – and for them to be the only remaining AL Franchise left in the contest.
Oakland has scored at least one run through their 1st 26 games, and that has got to be a surprise.
The Phillies just finished a weekend where they extended their winning streak to 6 games, and are still alive and well in this Survivor.
The Rockies and Pirates are the last 2 clubs in this, and Colorado is always a favorite to win the whole thing.

The Rockies are always a threat to win MLB Runs Scoring Survivor with the huge splits between the road and home parks. With their good offense, being blanked might be the toughest number to come up with. This is good for not scoring zero runs in any game.

I am happy to be back at the helm of the MLB Reports, after completing my record 224 Games in the MLB Trip in 2015. It was the 4th time I have seen all 30 MLB Parks since 2008.
During that time away I was fortunate to do 100 Media Interviews and be named the Baseball Blogger Alliance President.
