Kyle Seager launched a pair of homers, driving in all 5 Seattle runs, including a 3 run bottom of the ninth come from behind walk off homer to give the Mariners a 5-3 win over Houston.

Zack Greinke pitched 7 strong innings, letting up just 5 hits, 2 earned runs and walking 1 while striking out 11. He improved to 4-0 for the Dodgers with the 5-2 win over the Phillies.

Sonny Gray was strong for 7 innings, letting up just 5 hits and striking out 8. But the A’s would fall to Texas, 3-0.

Desmond Jennings got on base 4 times, scoring twice. But the Rays would fall to the Twins, 6-4, in 12 innings.

Jeff Samardzija pitched into the 8th inning, letting up just 2 runs and did his share to make Wrigley’s 100th birthday festive. The bullpen would implode and he would get a no decision as the Diamondbacks beat the Cubs, 7-5.

Matt Carpenter got 4 hits, including a double, and scored once. The offense couldn’t drive him home the other times, however, and the Cardinals fell to the Mets, 3-2.
